Arts and culture grants

To fund existing organizations with new or ongoing programs that:

• Integrate arts and cultural activities in order to benefit the economic and educational needs of our community
• Invest in and support the rich, diverse changing culture in the Central San Joaquin Valley
• Increase awareness, participation and understanding in all arts and culture activities
• Invest in programming strategies that help the organization remain vital and relevant in their communities

January 22, 2010 5pm	Organization Profile Form due. OPF's are accepted anytime prior to the deadline.
January 29, 2010 5pm	Grant Profile due. OPF's are accepted anytime prior to the deadline.
March 30, 2010	Final grant determinations, notifications, and awards announced.

Grant amounts and duration

The Fresno Regional Foundation will be granting approximately $100,000 in the Arts and Culture grant cycle. A grant of $35,000 will be awarded to one organization. Remaining grant amounts will range from $1,000 to $15,000.

Generally, funding will be awarded for a one-year period but may vary depending on the amount of time necessary for grantees to meet the objectives described in their funding request. 

Special Considerations

Due to donor-imposed restrictions, $50,000 is earmarked for those organizations whose offices are located within the City of Fresno. Programs and projects that are outside the City of Fresno will be considered as long as the main office is located within the City of Fresno.
