Fresno, CA – The Fresno Regional Foundation is accepting applications for its 2010 Youth Grant Cycle. The Foundation will consider applications from organizations that empower youth and address the social, education, and heath challenges in the community.
Of the $100,000 available during the Youth grant cycle, $10,000 has been earmarked specifically for the development of public charter schools in low achieving districts, low-income communities, and communities of color. Funding will support the development of teams for the purpose of planning, researching, and the drafting of petitions for high-quality and high-capacity charter schools.

To be considered for grants, applicants must submit an Organization Profile Form online by April 30 and an Application by May 7. A Bidders Meeting is scheduled for April 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodward Park Regional Library located at 944 East Perrin Avenue in Fresno.

The Fresno Regional Foundation’s Competitive Grant Guidelines, application procedures and related information is available online at www.fresnoregfoundation.org.
