Girls Scouts become Leaders and Advocates for Central California
A grant from FRF funded the Girl Scouts’ BREATHE Journey curriculum, engaging girls in hands-on projects. This curriculum helps girls discover issues related to air pollution, connects them with others to determine ways to solve the problems, and then shows them how to take action in order to make positive change. The girls gain confidence and learn leadership skills enabling them to become advocates for air pollution prevention and agents for change.
