Join FRF For Arts in the Market April 17, 2015

Fresno Regional Foundation presents Arts in the Market
WHAT: The Fresno Regional Foundation (FRF) is hosting Arts in the Market, a free arts fair open to the community with musical performances, community mural projects, and interactive art. The first 200 people to attend will receive a food truck voucher for a free meal and raffle prizes will be offered throughout the event. Arts in the Market embraces and advances the diverse ways we experience the arts. FRF will host a series of arts presentations throughout 2015 to promote engagement in the Arts in nontraditional places to increase the accessibility of the arts to everyone in the Central Valley. These presentations are made possible thanks to a partnership with the James Irvine Foundation.

STORIES PHOTO OPPS : FRF Program Staff will be available to discuss the Engagement Pathway Pilot Projects and FRF’s partnership with the James Irvine Foundation.
Three grantees will be participating in Arts in the Market:
1. Kings Cultural Center will have musical performances including Mariachi Music, Hawaiian Dance, Folklorico and Fiddling.
2. Creative Fresno will have their mobile mural unit for community participation.
3. Artist Bachrun LoMele will have his interactive, mobile confidence-processing booth exploring truth and meaning in art and life.
