Fresno Regional Foundation offers $120,000 for

Arts and Culture in the San Joaquin Valley

Arts and culture activities supporting student success urged to apply.

Fresno, CA The Fresno Regional Foundation (FRF) is accepting applications for its 2013 Arts and Culture Grant Cycle. The Fresno Regional Foundation serves a dynamic and multicultural population. It is important that the Community Benefit Organizations (CBOs) we support are aware of and sensitive to the diversity of the Central Valley. Therefore, FRF will fund programs that:

  • Support culturally relevant art forms that reflect and serve the Central San Joaquin Valley’s diverse population.
  • Support arts and culture activities that engage underserved communities.
  • Support arts and culture activities that improve achievement in core academic competencies such as literacy, math, and science for preschool to 12th grade students.
  • Grant Amounts and Duration

Of the $120,000 available, $35,000 is earmarked for those organizations whose offices are located within the City of Fresno. One grant of $50,000 may be awarded for a collaborative project. Remaining grant amounts range from $5,000 to $25,000. Funding will be awarded for a one-year period.

To be considered for grants, applicants must submit an Organization Profile Form online by February 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. The grant application deadline is March 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
