Cohorts
The Fresno Regional Foundation is a member and partner to the following organizations:
- The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, a private foundation with assets of $8.9 billion, awarded a grant to the Fresno Regional Foundation in 2007 of $1.4 million over three years to tackle two pressing issues in the central San Joaquin Valley; teen pregnancy and air quality. The grant will also support organizational development of Fresno Regional Foundation.
- The James Irvine Foundation. The Fresno Regional Foundation is one of nine small community foundations across the state which received substantial Irvine grants to support their operations and growth as part of Irvine’s Community Foundations Initiative II.
- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The Fresno Regional Foundation is a valued member of the Region 9 Federal Regional Council and its Interagency Task Force on the Central San Joaquin Valley, established by White House Executive Order 13173, which mandates an action plan to address the critical social, economic and environmental issues of the San Joaquin Valley.
